Question 1

How does Bookz work?

Accepted Answer

Bookz lets you find your child's school, select their grade, and order the exact stationery list your school requires — all in one place. We pack and deliver directly to your door.

Question 2

How do I find my child's school?

Accepted Answer

Use the school finder on our homepage. Select your province, then your school, then your child's grade. If your school isn't listed yet, you can submit it via our List Your School page.

Question 3

Can I order for more than one child?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Simply complete a separate order for each child. Each order is linked to a specific school and grade, so the correct stationery list is used for each.

Question 4

Can I customise the stationery list?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On the pack detail page you can adjust quantities or remove items you already have. You only pay for what you add to your order.

Question 5

What if my school isn't listed?

Accepted Answer

Submit your school's details and stationery list via our List Your School page. We'll review the list and add your school as soon as possible.

Question 6

Are the stationery lists up to date?

Accepted Answer

We work directly with schools to keep lists current. All lists on the site show the year they apply to. If you notice an error, please contact us.

Question 7

Can I order mid-year?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can order at any time. Stationery lists are available year-round, though stock on certain items may vary outside the January rush.

Question 8

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept Visa and Mastercard card payments processed securely through Paystack, as well as EFT (electronic funds transfer) directly into our FNB account.

Question 9

Is it safe to pay online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Card payments are processed by Paystack, which is PCI DSS compliant and uses 256-bit SSL encryption. Bookz never sees or stores your card details.

Question 10

How do I pay by EFT?

Accepted Answer

Select EFT at checkout. You'll receive our banking details and your order reference. Transfer the exact amount and email your proof of payment to info@bookz.co.za with your order reference in the subject line.

Question 11

When will my EFT payment be confirmed?

Accepted Answer

EFT payments typically clear within 1–2 business days. Once we confirm receipt, we'll begin packing your order and update your order status.

Question 12

My card payment failed. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Check that your card details are correct and that you have sufficient funds. If the problem persists, try a different card or switch to EFT. Contact us if you were charged but didn't receive a confirmation.

Question 13

Will I receive a receipt?

Accepted Answer

Question 14

How much does delivery cost?

Accepted Answer

Delivery is a flat rate of R200 per order, anywhere in South Africa.

Question 15

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Orders are typically packed within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation and delivered within 3–5 business days thereafter, depending on your location.

Question 16
