How your payment is processed

You click Pay now
After reviewing your order summary and entering your delivery details, you click the Pay now button on the checkout page.

Paystack takes over
You are redirected to a secure Paystack-hosted payment page. Your card details are entered directly on Paystack's servers — Bookz never sees or stores your card information.

Payment is authorised
Paystack communicates with your bank to authorise the transaction. This typically takes a few seconds.

You're redirected back
Once payment is confirmed, Paystack sends you back to Bookz with a success confirmation. You'll also receive a confirmation email.

Paystack is certified to the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

256-bit SSL encryption

All data transmitted between you, Paystack, and your bank is encrypted end-to-end.

3D Secure supported

Transactions are verified with your bank's 3D Secure authentication where applicable.

No card data stored

Bookz never stores your card number, CVV, or expiry date. All sensitive data stays with Paystack.

We accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards issued by South African banks.
